MDS LTC Training and Consulting has entered a local partnership with El Centro College and the Dallas County Community College District in order to expand the reach of its key Minimum Data Set (MDS) 3.0 training and consulting programs. As per the partnership agreement, Dallas-based El Centro College will allow MDS LTC Training and Consulting to offer its comprehensive and respected MDS 3.0 Training as a continuing education course through the university. El Centro College, a part of the Dallas County Community College District, offers health career training, including critical MDS services.
MDS LTC Training and Consulting has partnered with Texas State University in the promotion of Required Medicaid RUG Training. RN assessment coordinators who sign MDS 3.0 item Z0500 for residents with Medicaid reimbursement are required to take RUG training in order to have Medicaid services authorized. The course is offered online through the Texas State University’s Continuing Education program. Follow the instructions on the Texas State University Continuing Education RUG Training website to register for RUG training and take the training online.
